I use Ulead to edit my mpeg files.  The version that came with my TV 
tuner card worked fine, but I eventually upgraded when they came out 
with an automatic commercial zapper.  I don't use the feature, since 
it tends to hang and takes a while, but I've gotten pretty good at 
stripping out commericals. ;^)
