[Ldsoss] Notifier App

I've recently been wanting to write a little app that works with the
exports from MLS (or directly with the MLS database if there is enough
info for doing such), such that it can notify me, as Ward Clerk, of
upcoming baptism age children, possibly create notification lists for
the Exec Sec for when Youth interviews are coming up, etc. Has anyone
done anything like this already that I could start from?
