Hi all,

For my first post to this group, I have some questions about phpGedView.

My questions:

 * Is there a way to authenticate users against their lds.org log in 
information?
 * Is there a way to hide LDS ordinance data from non-LDS users (eg: 
groups)?
 * Is it really necessary to hide LDS ordinance data from non-LDS members?

A couple other questions require explanation.  I ask these because I 
have a new request for membership from someone related some 8 
generations back, before the church's restoration, and I don't think 
it's my place to interview every potential member before approving a 
membership request.  I hide ordinance data from the public because 
LDS.org does.  I understand why we shouldn't announce all ordinance 
information to all the world, but what about a small family focused 
group? Currently any user can see ordinance data since I cannot find any 
group functionality. Might hiding ordinance data hinder progress if I 
can't add a user because I don't know their LDS membership status?
