[Ldsoss] FamilySearch Labs - Smart Pedigree Viewer

Kudos, the Pedigree Viewer is a pretty cool tool.  The performance is pretty
good on my mid-range laptop:

 

WinXP 64-bit

2GHz AMD Athlon 64 

512MB DDR SDRAM 400MHz; 

Nvidia GeForce4 440Go 64MB;  

 

I do have 2 comments:

 

1)       it would be nice to have scrolling occur when your mouse approached
the edge of the viewspace, rather than just by clicking and dragging

 

2)       when you zoom out to the point where you can see the
12-generations, it would be nice if the pop-up detail box did not also scale
smaller.  Perhaps, a dockable status box or something could be used for
viewing.

 

3)       Is the viewer intended to be a downloadable component or just for
web viewing?
