[Ldsoss] Re: how MLS doesn't work well for you, and how you wish it worked

I'm no developer, just an interested user. (The request for MLS feedback got
me to dust down the keyboard.)

Here's my MLS wish list. Some of these I keep thinking will be fixed in the
release, but as they haven't yet and I'm now in a third year of using this
software which despite its few shortcomings has been ultimately very useful.

   - A couple of releases back I noticed that the Membership.csv export
now has a mismatch between the data and the header. The third header field
is "Preferred Name", but the data goes straight from "Full Name" to "MRN"
   - If there could be an additional field in the Membership.csv export I
liked to see "Sealed Date" we have baptism, confirmation, endowed and sealed
date is in the PalmIndividual.csv - at the moment I extract it using a
   vlookup on the MRN
   - Why can't each record have it's own email address. The way things
work change it for one individual and the whole household gets the same
   change!
   - Same query for phone number. Many people have their own mobile
phones. I could understand if phone 1 was a household phone, but why not let
phone 2 be specific to the individual
   - Be able to assign Geo Codes based on rules which query the Postal
   Code field.

Thanks

....Steve
