I think it's relevant that I point out at this time that the classes I
submitted were done in php because that is what I'd done them in originally
and it's what I'm comfortable at this time. I can make the same classes using
in a variety of other languages if that's necessary. The whole idea in
releasing these was to get the ball rolling and let others see what it was
that I was thinking in a more concrete manner.
I hope that it works and generates more discussion.
At this point, I think we should just focus on the functionality and
underlying data store. At the end of the day, if we get a good spec, the code
is easy and can be done as a LAMP project or a VB project with an XML data
store.
Getting the design right is the hard part.
